Welcome to Superberries.com

World's greatest choice for natural health & energy benefits.

Here's to your health, without expensive medications

The "aroniaberry," commonly called the chokeberry, is proven to be one of the heartiest natural healers. It has sparked the interestof massive research throughout the United States because of its remarkable healing powers. Containing the highest concentration of flavonoids and antioxidants of any known natural food product, the aroniaberry has health food advocates, as well as the medical world, in a flurry of excitement over its powers and potential.

Phytonutrient Composition: Aroniaberry fruit contains vitamins including B2, B6, E, C, and folic acid (which may lend credence to its traditional use for expecting mothers). It has an unusual sugar profile, with sorbitol as the dominant sugar. It has a high level of phenolic acids, tannins, catechins and other active flavonoids , including quercitin, rutin, hesperidin, and procyanidin. Some of these flavonoids have been documented to reduce infectivity and replication of viruses, and analyses of flavonoids in aroniaberry report a range from 2500 to 3500mg per 100g. Aroniaberry truly is one of the fruits highest in anthocyanin content, even compared to blueberry or pomegranate, with reported ranges between 725 to 1050mg per 100g of fresh fruit.

Much attention is now being paid to the high content of anthocyanins in aroniaberry due to the research showing the strong link between anthocyanins and a number of health benefits, including antioxidant/anti-inflammatory activity, a demonstrably positive effect on brain function, and an extraordinary ability to fight certain cancer mechanisms.
