Privacy Policy

Mae’s Health and Wellness, LLC (“Mae’s”) recognizes that you are concerned about how personal information you provide online is maintained and used by Mae’s. To address these concerns and to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy, we have developed and implemented this Privacy Policy so you will know how Mae’s gathers and provides information. Please review our Privacy Policy from time to time, as we may update or change it periodically.

Gathering and Use of Information

Mae’s collects personally identifiable information from visitors to our sites solely on a voluntary basis, but there are a few activities where the collection of personally identifiable information is necessary. These activities include sweepstakes and contests, making a purchase, completing a survey or contacting us. When personally identifiable information is collected, you will know because you will fill out a form. Such personally identifiable information may include your name, postal address, e-mail address, company name and/or telephone numbers (collectively referred to herein as “Personal Information”). If you make a purchase, your credit card information will also be obtained.

We will never sell, transfer, or disclose any Personal Information we gather on our web site to any third parties without your prior consent, except in cases when we believe in good faith that we have a legal obligation to disclose such Personal Information. We never require that this Personal Information be provided in order to gain access to our sites, nor will we require visitors to disclose more Personal Information than is reasonably needed to participate in an activity on our sites. We collect Personal Information primarily for the following reasons: 1) to e-mail consumers with updates and news; 2) to notify winners of contests, games and sweepstakes, and to distribute prizes; 3) to send out brochures, etc., via regular mail to subscribers; 4) to distribute items that are part of giveaways that consumers have registered for; 5) to enable consumers to make a purchase; or 6) for use in our online and offline marketing campaign.

Children are not directed to our site, nor are children under 13 years of age permitted to engage in any contests or sweepstakes. To the extent, however, they find their way to our site, we do not record or keep any child’s Personal Information.

About Other Privacy Laws

Mae’s abides by many privacy laws in the United States and around the world, including the Safe Harbor Framework as set forth by the United States Department of Commerce regarding the collection, retention and use of information collected from European Union countries.

Contests/Sweepstakes

We periodically run contests and sweepstakes on our site for which we ask users/participants to provide contact information (like their e-mail addresses). This information is used to contact the participant only when necessary in accordance with the rules of the contest or sweepstakes.

If a participant has indicated upon entering a contest or sweepstakes that he/she is less than 13 years of age, the participant cannot be entered into the contest or sweepstakes.

When a participant less than the age of 18 is selected as a prizewinner in a contest or sweepstakes, an e-mail is sent to the winner’s parent or guardian. This e-mail contains a form that requests the participant’s real name and address and a parental permission form. For the participant to receive the prize, the parent or guardian must fill out and sign the form, and then mail or fax it to the address or number indicated on the form.

Cookies/IP Addresses

Like many companies, Mae’s may use “cookie” technology to track customer visits through our sites. Cookies are pieces of information that a web site transfers to an individual’s hard drive for record-keeping purposes. They enhance the online experience by saving your preferences while you are visiting a particular site.

The cookies Mae’s uses do not contain any Personal Information and cannot profile your system or collect information from your hard drive. And although you may receive cookies from many different sites, each cookie can only be read by the Web server that originally issued it. You are not even identified by name or e-mail address, just by a unique string of numbers that we assign the first time you come to our site.

We use your IP address in two ways: to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our web sites, and also to gather broad demographic information.

Polls and Surveys

Information gathered from polls and surveys is only for internal use of Mae’s. If answers to polls or surveys are posted on the web site, then no identifiable Personal Information is ever included.

Choice/Opt-Out

Our site offers users the opportunity to opt out of receiving communications from us at the point where we request information about the visitor. Simply follow the procedure outlined on the site. Likewise, we will provide users with the opportunity to change any information previously provided.

Security

The importance of security for all Personal Information of our visitors is of the utmost concern to us. Mae’s takes technical, contractual, administrative and physical security steps to protect all visitors’ information. When you provide credit card information, we use secure socket layer (SSL) encryption to protect it. There are some things that you can do to help protect the security of your information, as well. For instance, never give out your password, since this is what is used to access all of your account information. Also remember to sign out of your account and close your browser window when you finish surfing the web, so that other people using the same computer won’t have access to your information.

How to Contact Us

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, the Legal Policy, the practices of this site, your dealings with this web site, or your Personal Information, you can always contact us at our e-mail address: tross@superberries.com.

Berry Believers

"I am a mother of two young children. I have tried to make it a point to encourage them to eat healthy and be aware of what kind of food choices they are making. This year, as a family, we made it a goal to try to eat as healthy as possible and cut out as much of the junk food as possible. As a part of our efforts, I started to incorporate the aroniaberry gummy chews for the kids as a supplement. I would give them a small pack of the aroniaberry chews instead of a pack of the fruit chews we buy on the mass market. They have tried many of the fruit chew vitamins that are on the market, and just have never seemed to like any of them. We happened upon the Superberries fruit chews, and they LOVE them! They would eat as many of them as they could get their hands on if I didn't control them!! A serving size is 11 fruit chews. I can honestly tell you, my children have been eating these since October 2010, and we haven't missed a single day of school due to illness and I cannot help but credit part of that to the fruit chews. I've read numerous testimonials stating that aroniaberries have helped aid many people with health issues, and I can see a difference in my children from them as well. I would highly recommend to our parents getting these fruit chews for their children! My kids love them and I love seeing them choose a healthy fruit snack that is aiding their immune systems!!!!"
