This chutney sauce will take your Thanksgiving turkey to a whole new level. You’ll love the vibrant Aronia berry flavor paired with apples and onions.
1 cup apple (peel/chopped i.e. Braeburn/Granny Smith)
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/2 cup onion (white)
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons apple cider
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon salt
In medium skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add onion (chopped); cook and stir 3 minutes or until starting to soften. Add all remaining ingredients; mix well. Cook 10 minutes or until apples are tender, stirring occasionally. Serve over pork, chicken or turkey.

Mix the cream cheese, sour cream, corn starch and sugar with an electric mixer. Add the butter and vanilla, blend until smooth. Swirl with a knife to create a marble effect and bake @ 350 for 25 minutes or until a knife inserted comes out almost clean. Cool and chill for at least one hour. Cut into small squares and serve.
Aroniaberry Cranberry Nantucket Pie
We were inspired to make this pie by one we saw in the frozen food aisle at the grocery store. We are finding that replacing berries with our Frozen Aroniaberries lends a rich berry flavor and the antioxidants they deliver are definitely a bonus.
1 cup of Frozen Aroniaberries
a mixing bowl, combine flour, 1 cup sugar, melted butter, eggs, almond extract,
and salt. Stir gently to combine.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes. 5 minutes before removing from oven, sprinkle the surface with 1 tablespoon sugar for a little extra crunch.
apples (e.g. Grannie Smith or baking apples)
1/4 cup butter
2 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 teaspoons orange peel
3 teaspoons orange juice
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup quick-cooking oats
1/4 cup brown sugar
Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 8-inch square (2-quart) baking dish with cooking spray. In large bowl mix apples (peeled and sliced) with berries. Add granulated sugar, cornstarch orange peel (grated), and orange juice; toss until coated. Spoon into baking dish. In medium bowl, mix remaining ingredients, cutting in butter with pastry blender until mixture is crumbly. Spoon evenly over apple mixture. Bake 50 to 60 minutes or until topping is golden brown, apples are tender and mixture is bubbly around the edges. Cool slightly before serving. TIP: If your Aroniaberries are frozen, you don't need to thaw them first for this recipe.
1/2 cup Superberries Fresh-Frozen Aroniaberries
1 cup Apple Cider or Apple Juice
1/4 cup Honey
1 tablespoon Cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon (ground)
Place Aroniaberries in food processor for about 15 to 20 seconds (or until finely chopped). In 1 1/2 quart saucepan, combine chopped berries and all remaining ingredients; mix well. Cook over medium heat until mixture boils, stirring occasionally. Boil 1 minute, stirring occasionally. Strain mixture through metal strainer. Cool to room temperature. Serve over angel food cake, pound cake, frozen yogurt or try on pancakes or waffles.

Triple your berry flavor by combining Aroniaberries, Blueberries and Cranberries in the sauce recipe. We love the medley of berry yumminess on our taste buds not to mention the antioxidant trifecta.

orange zest (grated)
Heat all ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook and stir until the sugar dissolves and berries soften, about 15 minutes. Cover and chill until ready to serve.
