Wear Bright Colors for More Energy

The holiday countdown has begun.  Plans are underway for Thanksgiving and Black Friday sales. Holiday parties and activities are starting already. Although it is the most wonderful time of the year, it can also be the most exhausting time of the year. Consider adding Superberries to your day to give you quick energy during the holidays and try these simple energy-boosting tips.  Also, check out the links to 66 other tips for more energy.

Power Up with Superberries
Adding Superberries Frozen Aroniaberries or Aroniaberry Concentrate to your water is a great way to stay hydrated during the holidays.  Hydration can help lessen fatigue and improve muscle energy. Plus the antioxidants in the Aroniaberry help protect the body from free radicals and oxidative stress which is so important to overall health and wellness. Also, consider packing a snack bag of Aroniaberry Gummy Chews for your holiday shopping trips and travels.  Our Gummies are made from organic Aroniaberry Concentrate and other wholesome ingredients.

Add a Burst of Color
To slay the day, dress in a colorful robe or a sweater.  Warm colors like red, orange and yellow are considered to be energy colors, while green, blue, indigo, and violet are calming colors.

Drink Coffee in the Morning
Start your day with a cup of coffee or tea.  Experts say that it is okay to have up to 300 milligrams of caffeine a day.  But remember all coffee is not the same.  A cup of Starbucks Dark Roast has up to 330 milligrams of caffeine while other popular roasts have half that.

Smell Something Citrusy
Add a slice of lemon to your water throughout the day.  The smells of citrus fruits like oranges, lemons, limes, or grapefruit can be energizing.  Also, consider buying body wash to use in your morning shower with a citrus scent.

Laugh Out Loud
Bursting out in a good laugh may be just as good as a trip to the gym. In addition to boosting your energy, laughing can also boost your immune system and reduce your stress.  Laughter really is good medicine.

Crank up your Favorite Tunes
Brain research has found that music has a positive effect on our mood and nervous system.  So crank the music.  You will get a burst of energy every time you listen to your favorite Jam.

Get Good Rest
Consider winding down an hour before you go to sleep.  This means no electronics. And try to keep the same bedtime every night. Eliminating caffeine late in the day can also be helpful for you to get good rest.  Also think pink. The color pink has a calming effect.  Consider putting a pink light bulb in your lamp by your bedside to help you wind down. Or paint your bedroom pink. :-)
