Aronia Cranberry Fruit Pizza

This fruity pizza pairs antioxidant champions, the aroniaberry and cranberry for a dish that could easily be used for dessert, breakfast or an appetizer. Other ingredients include brie cheese, pecans on a refrigerated pizza crust.

Ingredients 
1 cup of Frozen Aroniaberries
1 can of whole berry cranberries
1 tube refrigerated pizza crust
8 oz. of brie cheese (remove rind and cube)
1/2 cup pecans

Directions
Spray pizza pan with olive oil.  Unroll dough.  Build up edges.  Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Sprinkle cubes of cheese over the crust.  Mix cranberries and aroniaberries in bowl.  Spoon evenly over crust.  (You may have enough left to make another pizza.)  Top with pecans.  Bake another 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.  Cool for 5 minutes.  Serve.

Recipe options: Also try this recipe using cream cheese instead of brie cheese.  For another appetizer option, use a lavash flatbread or crackers and bake in the oven.
