Energize Me Smoothie
If your busy holiday schedule has you dragging, try our energy smoothie. The smoothie includes Aroniaberries, a top source of antioxidants including phyto-nutrient compounds like antohocyanins, polyphenols, quercitin, and catechins. Aroniaberries and raspberries have a low glycemic index which means your blood sugar won't be spiking and send you crashing. Maca is a reknowned energy booster. Lucuma is a super nutritious South American fruit that contains beta carotene, iron, zinc, vitamin B3, calcium and protein. With all this combined into a smoothie you can't help feeling berry energized.
Ingredients:
½ cup frozen aroniaberries
½ cup frozen raspberries
1 cup baby spinach
2 cups apple juice
1 teaspoon raw maca powder
1 teaspoon lucuma powder
½ teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon cacao powder
¼ cup cashews
Add all ingredients to blender and blend till smooth.
