- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 2/3 cup milk
- 2 cups of Superberries Frozen Aroniaberries
Preheat oven to 375°F. Lightly spray a round baker with vegetable oil. Combine flour and brown sugar in large bowl. Cut in butter using a pastery blender until mixture resembles coarse crumbs; set aside 1/2 cup for topping. Add baking powder, cinnamon and salt to remaining flour mixture. In small bowl, whisk egg and milk; add to flour mixture, mixing just until dry ingredients are moistened.
Pour batter into round baking dish; sprinkle with berries and reserved flour mixture. Bake 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove from oven; serve warm.
