Start Your Smoothie Bowl with Superberries

Smoothie Bowls have become all the rage for breakfast and afternoon snacks. Whether you prefer greens, berry fruit, or other veggies, fruits, grains, or seeds, these bowls are filled with nutrition and "berry" delicious. To make a smoothie bowl from a smoothie recipe use less liquid. The result: a thicker, yogurt-like consistency that serves as a perfect bed for your healthy toppings. Add Superberries Aroniaberry Concentrate or Frozen Aroniaberries to your smoothie recipe to unleash nature's most powerful antioxidant.

  • 1 tbsp Aroniaberry Concentrate
  • 1 cup canned coconut milk or milk of choice
  • 1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • tiny pinch salt (to bring out the sweetness)
  • 1 overripe frozen banana OR 3/4 cup coconut
  • sweetener of choice - sweeten to taste

Blend all ingredients together until smooth. Pour into a bowl and top with your favorite granola, flakes, bananas, shredded coconut, seeds and berries.
